Join us for a morning of Rock Talk and Geology Stories at Leone Beach Park. Learn how Lake Michigan was created and where its oldest and biggest secret beaches are in the neighborhood. Examine samples of different kinds of rocks and then go into the park and hunt for your own wild rocks along the beach.

So get out of your rocking chair and join us on Sat August 24 at 10am. Meet at the east end of Touhy Avenue next to the field house at the lakefront. Paid parking is available in the city lot at Touhy and Sheridan and the CTA bus stops at the corner of Touhy and Sheridan.
