How to Apply for a Sidewalk Sign Permit
Presented Chicago Department of Business Affairs & Consumer Protection (BACP)

As of March 1, 2022, sidewalk signs (e.g A-frame, T-frame, or other temporary self-supporting type signs, placed on the public way) will be allowed in the City of Chicago only if they have obtained the proper City permit. The advertisement of services with sidewalk signs helps businesses draw in foot traffic from the street, providing an important boost of revenue and sources of customers.

The webinar will provide an overview of the permit application process, operational conditions and sign requirements.

The City of Chicago Department of Business Affairs & Consumer Protection offers FREE business education workshops that are now available as WEBINARS!
