Virtual Love Rogers Park Small Business Saturday

We are launching our Live Love Shop Rogers Park rebate program on Small Business Saturday (SBS) Nov 28th.

This year our SBS event will be a bit different in order to follow state-mandated safety guidelines. One thing that hasn't changed is that we will continue and are proud to be a Neighborhood Champion for Small Business Saturday!

SBS is a nationwide campaign to shift holiday spending from big box stores to local independent merchants and you know we love small, independently owned businesses!

As your Neighborhood Champion, we have rallied many of the businesses in Rogers Park to offer discounts during Small Business Saturday. And like last year, several participating businesses will donate a percentage of their SBS sales to a local Rogers Park nonprofit or charity. It's a win-win when shopping small this holiday season!

The SBS virtual holiday kickoff will begin at Nibbles and Nosh on Nov 28 at 10 a.m. We will go live on RPBA's Instagram account (@rogersparkba). During the live stream, shoppers will meet local businesses while learning about their special offers for Small Business Saturday and the holiday season.

Also, beginning on SBS and continuing through the holiday season, 3D art by Nate Baranowski will be displayed at the storefront windows of the following ten businesses (listed east to west): Athena Board Game Cafe, Lost Eras, Lady B Boutique, Sol Café, Cally's Curls and Company, Salerno's on Tap Rogers Park, Howard Area Community Center, Good To Go Jamaican Restaurant, Hip Circle Empowerment Center and Badou Senegalese Cuisine. A walking tour map will become available at howardstreetchicago.com.
