Target Liquor License Community Meeting

  • Share:
Name: Target Liquor License Community Meeting
Date: October 8, 2019
Time: 8:00 PM - 9:00 PM CDT
Event Description:
The new Target on Sheridan Road is requesting a packaged goods liquor license. This was first announced during a community Town Hall in July. The stretch of Sheridan from Broadway (Devon) to Albion has an existing package goods moratorium that prevents Target from applying for a liquor license. An ordinance would need to be introduced by Alderwoman Hadden lifting the moratorium to allow Target to apply for the permit to sell packaged goods liquor at this location.

Before making a final decision whether or not to lift the moratorium along this stretch of Sheridan, the 49th Ward Office wants to make sure that the community has ample opportunity to provide feedback.

The 49th Ward office will host a community meeting where representatives from Target will be in attendance to provide residents with more information and to answer questions and concerns about their plans.
