Resist The Darkness: A Solstice Celebration When: Tues, June 20 7-9pm Where: Lakefront on Lunt Ave. Rogers Park Arts Alliance welcomes the community to gather in observation of the longest day of the year. It's a perfect time to push back against these dark times, celebrate the vitality and the energy of the sun while reflecting on the world. Cast out the bad and dream of the good. There will be music, poetry, performances, readings, dancing, a pinata's and more. Light refreshments will be served. Look for RPAA by the white tent with the purple RPAA logo. The program will begin at 7:30, with a circle and cacophony of sound and end about an hour later with the sharing of hopes for the future. The event is kid friendly – all are welcome!
