Pop-Up People Spot | Tamalito

Starting in June, we (RPBA) will set up a temporary Pop-Up People Spot in front of a business every month. The people spot (parklet) will be set up on a parking spot adjacent to a local business with tables and chairs and with interactive activities for the community to enjoy.

The Pop-Up People Spot has three goals:

1. Strengthen Business by supporting and bringing awareness to local businesses in Rogers Park
2. Build community by providing opportunities for neighbors to meet and have fun together
3. Inspire people to collectively reimagine and reinvent gathering spaces

Interactive activities may include board games, arts and crafts, live painting, live music, business specials and more.
