Time: 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM CST
Event Description:
The 49th Ward office will host a second community meeting to discuss the updated business plan and the packaged goods liquor license request for Neighbor Market.

Neighbor Market, 1411 W. Lunt, has updated its business plan, which includes a broader selection of groceries and other packaged goods items. They also will serve a variety of prepared foods, including healthy and vegan options. Finally, they have worked with their landlord to expand the current business into the adjacent vacant storefront.

They are still seeking a packaged goods liquor license to sell a selection of fine wine and spirits. The area currently has an existing package goods liquor moratorium, which would need to be lifted by ordinance in order for them to sell alcohol at the store.
