The 49th Ward office is partnering with the Department of Public Health to offer free flu shots. Swing by the Rogers Park Branch Library, 6907 N. Clark, between 10 am and 3 pm to receive your free flu shot.
Getting an annual flu vaccine is the best way to protect yourself and your family from the flu. Flu vaccinations reduce flu illnesses, doctors' visits, and missed work and school due to the flu. Herd vaccinations - or populations that are highly vaccinated - result in protecting people who are more vulnerable to contracting the flu, including older people, pregnant women, very young children, and people with certain long-term health conditions.
While you're at the library, take a moment to vote early in the 2020 Participatory Budgeting cycle.
