49th Ward Back to School Picnic this Sunday When: Sun, Aug 28 12-4pm Where: Loyola Park (Farwell and the Lake) Join Alderman Joe Moore and State Senator Heather Steans for an afternoon of family fun at the 26th Annual Back To School Picnic. The picnic will feature a host of fun activities including the world famous Jesse White Tumbling Team, free food, drinks, music, face painting, dance contest, free children’s haircuts by Twinning for Healing, live puppets by The Damen Avenue Puppeteers, jumping jack, carnival toys, Bingo for Seniors and much more. The Chicago City Clerk’s Office will be at the picnic, helping parents sign their kids up for the City Clerk’s Kids ID program - a program that helps file fingerprints, photos and vital information on children that can be shared with law enforcement in the case they ever go missing or become lost.
